I'll show you mine If you'll show me yours

At 10 years & 175Kmi's(just ordered my 155Kmi High Milage Do-Hickey), Here's my list of "Done Fixed", whats yours

2 new windshields,2 new headlights(if you don't have the 3M adhesive plastic on yours what the #e!! are you waiting for)New radiator and hoses, accessory belt tensioner(every two-three years mine breaks at $240),Timing chains, rotors, dist caps wires, motor mounts, rear engine seal, O2 sensor,Oil sending unit and the oil sensing unit update as outlined at this sight, new tranny(under warranty),shifter bushing(lever had some play in it, better check yours.Put 'er in gear and see it the lever "wiggles",ball joints/tie rods and I think its called a "kick back"shock(little shock lays horizontally between the tie rods,Koni Shocks/ Eibach springs, AMG Wheels / Tires(new rubber at least once every 300days. Its hot in Texas and Z rated rubber gets eaten up pretty quick),Brake pads(last maybe a year) rotors(on my 5th set of rotors. They are a wear part and are only good for 30K or so) All fluids(oil 5kmi , Tranny every year, brake every 2 yrs,Coolant every2 years, rear diff every 2 years , All Filters(corresponds to fluids) fuel filter, yeah don't remind,I need to change it now cause its been YEARS, Replaced fuel tank to 500e. Need the add'l capacity. I get exactly 410mi(Yeah I found out the scientific way) to a 23.9 gal(stuff her full to the max incl the filler neck)tank. (Throttle Boby Actuators is worn out but had'nt got around to it yet and the dreaded power steering leak plagues me yet and the driver side manual mirror adjuster broke, but as a $150 fix, I can live without it). Repaced the A/C hose and had the system recharged for NO reason(Duh!@) Replaced the rear control are bushings(lower most on the rear caliper hub assy and one of the stabilizer links(you know, the one that supposedly goes bad and affects your handling got this tidbit from another site) and the Blower motor fuse(all ways check this before you go shell out $$ when your A/C don't blow). And MOST IMPORTNATLT LADIES AND GENTS, MAKE DARN SURE YOU CHANGE THAT GAS OUT OF YOUR TANK AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK IF NOT SOONER, CAUSE THAT STUFF CAN KILL A CAR FASTER THAN ANYTHING

Knock on wood still ok- Water Pump,Fan clutch,Alternator,A/C Compressor, Power window/sunroof motors,Sweet M119 4valve/double overhead "INDY" motor,Tranny,Fuel Pump, COMPUTER!,vacuum system,Rear submount assy,Drive & Half Shafts.

Well, I got a 92 300E with 107k. Ive had to replace blower motor and fuse. Needed to change out 2 window motor assemblies, and uhh... thats it. Now, since the car has been in 3 accidents, some body paneling and headlights had to be changed, but I wouldn't call that a part that broke on its own... I have had to open up the front door panels a couple of times though, to fix annoying rattling caused by loose screws...All in all though, im really happy with the build quality of my benz, it still runs great....
