The megajolt is a good package but when you consider that the ms1 isn't that much dearer, IMO I would buy the MS1.

Another update, first start.
Excuse the fact that I don't have the exhaust manifold on, so it is a brief run as it was quite loud. First start of m103 fitted with edis - YouTube Last edited by Oz 300te; 07-25-2014 at 03:13 AM. |

The car has been timed to 10 deg. advance, starts almost instantly, much better than before.
I haven't hooked up the megasquirt yet. This car runs only on LPG. Here is very short drive video. Little drive - YouTube |

Thanks.
Complicated, not really, it's a bit messy but that will be tidied up once the piping is completed. I can't wait to give it a proper squirt down the road. I'll take some more video showing how I wired in the megasquirt with a decent camera, using the phone to shoot video sucks... |

Any update on availability on this kit?
I'm looking at a 300SE that has issues, and tempted to just yank all the CIS bits and put on a Megasquirt that I'd intended to use on my now crunchy SEC.

Hi, I've sold some already.
Is 300SE a single cam motor? M103? |

Yep, that it is.
As it sits, that 300se starts but seems like its missing on a cylinder or two, and I'm told that it fouls plugs in about 20 minutes. I'm going to pull the pugs and see if they are oily or just carbon fouled. I'm guessing it's just running extremely rich from the lack of color in the exhaust when I fired it up.

Sounds like the usual suspects, cap, rotor, plugs maybe leads but you can swap them around to narrow it down to the leads.
I have sent you a pm. |

Update with COP on M104
Hi,
Here's a a video showing a rough in using my trigger wheel and 6x IGN-1a in wasted spark mode with a microsquirt controlling them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5-Qf1KtwiQ I'll be doing a dyno run with the stock ignition reinstalled to give a baseline and then with the microsquirt and COP installed. |

What ever happened with this? Out of business?

Not out of business. Sales dropped off and I've sold my last one from my last batch. If interest picks up I'll make some more but I'll need at least 10 pre orders.

I know this is an old thread, but it's too bad interest has fallen off. I think this is a great alternative to a balancer-replaced trigger wheel or dropping the trans to swap to a 60-2 flex plate. I stumbled across this while looking into EDIS for a future M104/MS swap although I had planned on using the later 60-2 flexplate for this. I also thought, even if I get an M103 powered car and want to get rid of the dreaded EZL failure possibility, this would be a nice option to have available. Is anyone else still interested in this? I wouldn't mind having one but he only produces them in batches of 10 pre-orders. And for what it's worth, I did contact him directly yesterday. **** I do realize this is my first post after lurking for quite awhile. Please don't get the impression that I'm some random guy trying to drum-up business for him. |
