hmmm... if I were you i'd hold out for 17s, I prefer the lower profile look, and to me it just look funny when people run nice rims with fat tires. You don't want to change the overall size of your tire+rim also, because that will give you driving issues, so I would hold off untill you can source some 17s....

well here's the deal though...
they have goodyear tires on them with only 10 miles...
and also the price for all four is 500.00

so i don't know if holding out for 17's is really going to be a better deal

Thats a good deal. Get them. Even if you're just going to keep them for a year or two they are well worth it.
I have 16's and the rubber does not look "fat"

Or is it just me

hehehehe... well, how bout we call them festively plump Yea, for $500, thats a really good deal, and you wont be able to source 17s for less than $600 without tires. And, the 16s aren't gonna look bad, I mean, you are upgrading from stock 15s, and I think many things look better than the multihole 15s that used to come with mercedes....

Those CLK rims look great, and 16" is perfect.

Another member here, Hi-Power, had 16" rims on this 300E, and then moved up to the 17" Brabus wheels. The Brabus wheels look great and all, but he feels the car rode better on 16's - just a little harsher ride with the 17's.

And besides, the price on the 16's is just right.

Rich, 16's with 205/55/16 will look fine. 17's look more agressive, ride is not compromised much more, and handling difference is definately better with 16's than 15's. when I put on the 17's, I was amazed att he handling. I can't get the tires to their limits yet, I've tried too.
