Question Transmission questions

Hello Friends,

I think my automatic transmission is a bit late when shifting up i.e I would like it to shift up at a lower Rpm. I also would prefer the shifts a bit firmer.

I think I have seen a link somewhere on this site to a description how that can be done but I´m unable to find it. Can anyone help me?

My transmission is also quite slow to engage the reverse (it waits for almost a second) after the shift lever is in position and once engaged the drag is quite high compared to when in drive.

Is this normal and if not what should I do about it?

Many thanks,
