75 450 SL thinking of buying for parts

I am think ing of getting this 75. hood bad grill good
doors good engine turns over but doesnot start. Oil is very clean. top is torn, interior is not to bad. rust on fender tops. trunk and lights good.crome all good. Any Idea what it is worth? Any one interested, I need afew parts of it. Jim

did you do anything with this? as a very outside shot I'm looking for a way to get rid of the cats on my 76 and I believe the manifolds on that car would do the job for me.

I am having a terable time with this website. sorry to answer so late. I have a complete rebuilt engine and a engine with the heads off. If you need a manifold tell me what you will give for it. I've not made up my mind yet what to do with this car. Jim in omaha

I think the 75 had cats in the engine compartment, too.
74 and earlier were w/o, and 77 they moved them back under the car, I believe.

anybody else on which car had the the converters under the hood?

Edited. 75 did have cats under 'da hood so it's no help to me. good luck
