Angry

Looks a bit of an old nail with all those bits and pieces stuck on, also very low mileage for a 16 yrar old car !!
Did nor realize that SL60s come in that early ?
Also why Left Hand Drice in Japan ?

Like the rims

I love the wheels on that car. So, this is a 6 liter V8?

Yes, that is a 6 liter V8. They didnt have the SL60 until about 1994. In the early 90's the fire breathing sl's were known as 500SL 6.0.

The 500SL 6.0 AMG was the first incarnation of the SL60 - though they weren't made until September 1991 so not sure if this is original or a bodge job.

I am leaning towards this car not being an authentic AMG or a 6.0.
Steering wheel is not original and it appears that this car was simply badged up to look like a 6.0 AMG. This happens a lot in Japan.

OK, further research finds that this is indeed a 6.0 AMG......my bad.
I have dealer authorization to past and present auctions in Japan and this car sold through auction house USS Tokyo on July 20th. One thing he failed to indicate in his eBay post is that this is an accident repaired car.
