Steering....check your idler arm and damper bushing ends, are they worn, if so they are a easy repair. Did wonders for me.

Turn signals...check your hazard switch see if it is not in the middle position. Try your flashers with the hazard switch in both positions. If they work but hazard doesn't likely the relay box behind the instrument cluster (black).

Have your subframe bushings checked as well.

Tire: Michelin Harmony. I have a similar set of Michelins (Weatherwise Sport, no longer made) and love 'em.

Shocks: KYB shocks are the best bang for the buck. Bilsteins are better but cost somewhat more.

Mine is AMG and tires are low profile R18's.

Bushings most likely the culprit for the loose mid-zone.

I recommend you stay with Bilsteins. They are OEM designed for the car. Go directly to Bilstein on the internet. I got mine at probably 40% below retail.

The Flasher relay is under a black box behind the fuse box on the driver's side.
Obviously check the fuse first, then the relay.

after checking the tie rods under the car the next place i would look is at the steering box. it is pretty easy to adjust if you can reach the adjuster with the v8 in there. just loosten the 19mm lock nut and turn the adjuster allen head nut anticlockwise til all the play is out and it begins to bind up then loosten til it is free again.

and if you might not be real expereinced with benzes i might warn you that if you are accustomed to rack and pinion you will find the benz steering a little unresponsive off center compared to the rack.

normal.

good luck
