Climate control buttons-any ideas?

On my 95 SL500 the white outline of "fan blade" for the fan button is worn off.
Are there replacement buttons available anywhere or has anyone been able to re apply white paint, etc into these little indentations? I tried once briefly with a very small tip brush but I had hard time keeping my hand from shaking to fill in these small indentations.
