California or Federal?
Aloha,
I have looked on the emissions plate on my 450SLC and see something that says "this car meets all standards for California and Canada." Does that mean my car is a "California model" for replacement parts purposes? And if so, what would be written on a Federal model plate? Thanks for the help,

I think car manufacturers in most cases use California emission standards when they produce a vehicle...the tag identifies this.
It's also one less worry among dealerships when they ship cars from one state to another. Vehicles without the sticker would be considered "grey market"...
