In February 1997 we rebuilt both the engine and trans on this 220k car. Our customer gave it to his son and over the next 4 years he accumulated numerous dings here and there. The leather interior took a dive and recently the A/C died.
The customer just purchased a S320 and gave his 88 300E to his son. They just traded us the car for repairing the evap and compressor, etc on the 300E. The motor and trans are thus low miles and are in a running vehicle for inspection. The car is not worth the money to be resurrected. We are looking for a good body to purchase or for an engine transplant. Either will be for sale. If you are interested and are in the North Forida/South georgia area, we can make a real good deal.
