FS: Parting Out '82 300D

Well, I'm doing it again.

Parting out a 300D, largely for a full interior swap (also keeping trans).

Body panels rusted to hell, the rest is gorgeous, low milage and runs beautifully. The rust is tragic, it drives better than any other I've had.


What do you want/need? I'm stripping it down to nothing.

Someone needs this engine, it's a gem. 172k on it.

Located near Burlington, VT if you want to pick up.

What color is the interior? Could you possibly post a few photos? I'm looking for a few interior parts but I'm looking for beige which is a little lighter than palomino. Thanks!

The interior is palomino, but I'm keeping all seats, carpet, trim for my swap. anything else is fair game.

Can I have the little grey plastic screws that keep the kickpanels up?

Also the little screws with washers that hold the rear seat back down? Also the female clip receiving part?

I assume if you’re swapping interiors you’ll have duplicates...

Also, tach amp? And the little rubber bellows on the Bowden cable on the valve cover?

Maybe the acc? Blower motor?

How is the diff and cv axles?

Let me go through your list today and make sure that everything you want is in good shape. I don’t have her up on jack stands yet, doing my interior work before driving her to her final resting place for the absolute tear down.

Keeping the instrument cluster? I need one with a tach for some experimentation in building a digital amp replacement like a member did some years ago.

I'm not worried about mileage or anything on the cluster, just want one so I'm not risking cooking my functional tach with a signal generator and everything.

I think I commented on your thread, I’m not sure if it’s the tach or tach amp in my car that’s faulty. Wanted to let you know first. I’ll need it for about a week while I transport since it’s running now. I can update about the tach in the next few days. I’m really curious about your digital amp replacement...

Oh hey, You're right. I've had a ton going on and forgot you had mentioned in the other thread you might have one, Just remembered I hadn't yet got one.

When you figure out if its your amp or tach let me know and we'll figure something out!
