do all the ml's have the same body style? i need to replace the windshield. i'm assuming they're all the same.

The 1998-2005 models are the W163 chassis, MB is almost ready to release the ALL NEW ML's W164 chassis.

VERY few parts are used from the old chassis on the new one!

I think that they are the same, but you should check with the dealer parts guys to see if there is a difference between pre-2002 and post 2002. In 2002, they introduced rain-sensing wipers and may have changed some of the tinting behind the rearview mirror. Other than somthing like that, the exterior dimensions should be the same for all MLs from 97-05.
