Have a 1998 ML 320 with 19,000 miles, and it is leaking transmission fluid from the plastic connector on the side. One post says I could fix it myself fairly easily-any hints on info in site, or how to do it?

The connector, MB part # 203-540-00-53 is about $10.
IN the center of the connector there is a 7mm bolt(wrench size), just un-screw that & pull out on the connector. YOU may lose some fluid if the truck isn't jacked from the front. OF course you need to disconnect the wiring harness first. JUST rotate the plastic lever on the harness side of the connector & it will "pull" itself from the connector.
