I have 1999 Ml430 with 158,000 miles. A few days ago, I heard squeaks/chirps coming from what I am thinking is a pulley. Today, the squeaks were accompanied by a bearing-like groan/buzz that is much louder.

I believe the noise is coming from the pulley that is in the center of my picture or the one below it on the right.

Sorry I couldn't get it any brighter. The glare from my shoplight kept messing up the camera flash and without the light I couldn't see the pulley. I'll try and take better pics and post them later. I just want to fix this problem without going to any shop. I just dropped $900 two weeks ago on a new left Cat because I could not do that myself!

Is there a diagram somewhere so I can identify this pulley, find the Drive Belt tensioner and fix this problem? Does anybody have any other ideas?
