towing an R class

Anyone here know how to tow an R class? Not tow with, but actually have it towed, as in behind something, like a motorhome. Trying to understand if there are easy ways or not to do so. Thanks.

For anyone who might have the same question in the future here is what I found out from an online owners manual:

1. MB recommends towing flatbed
2. if can't do #1, tow with 4 wheels on the ground short distance
3. MB does NOT recommend towing with 2 wheels off the ground if at all possible to avoid damage to AWD system

Do NOT tow a R-class behind a motor coach on its tires! Only on a trailer.

You don't really want to tow an R class. What you're looking to do is to push the vehicle. The problem with towing one is that by the time you're able to get that goofy minivan up to speed and pointed in the right direction, your tow vehicle will be committed as well, and both vehicles will end up going over the cliff.

Pushing the R class. That's the way to do it.

I would say you should "over look" BAVBMW stupid remarks. What would you expect from anyone who has BMW in his name. Anyway, there is only one good way to tow a vehicle behind a motor home and that is on a "car hauler trailer" of the type the "U" Haul rents out. About as perfect a trailer as you can get unless you want to go for an enclose van type trailer. That would allow keeping your Mercedes out of the weather and perhaps still have room to store other items as well.

Aw jeez mate, I figured since he'd both already found the correct answer, and had another member answer as well, there might be room for some humor in the thread...

Guess not. My mistake.
