Just finished researching this topic myself..

With our ML having 125K miles and wanting it to last, changing the fluid seems ideal. Headed to the dealer next week for the fluid change, including the torque converter.

Could you elaborate on the modifications required to the valve body/caps for them to fit properly? I would greatly appreciate being able to have my ducks in a row when chatting with the tech.

Is this info accessible in WIS?
