K&N Air Filter for ML320

Hi.

I’m not sure if the K&N Air Filter is a really good one for ML.
If someone has good experience please let me know.
Regards

If the K&N filter is over-oiled, the oil can contaminate the mass airflow sensor and ruin it. In general I'd recommend sticking with the dry filter, not a K&N. I also believe the performance benefits of the K&N are over-rated, but it can be a cost-effective filter though as it is cleanable and reuseable.

K&N Filter

I've used a K&N filter on our 98 ML 320 for the last 75k miles with no problem. My MAS is fine after 96k miles total.

I noticed a difference in performance which I thought was well worth the money.

Just be careful not to overoil the filter when you clean it. That's where the problems come in.

Please explain this difference in performance that you think you felt on your 320.
