speaking of other forums....

...and what they do and don't allow, check out this Ford truck forum I just joined, and what they say regarding their "General Conversation" forum:
"Non-automotive discussion only. No Political, Sexual or Religious topics."

http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/

Hmm. I'm going to check in there and see how it goes for them, considering they just eliminated 75% of what we "discuss" here

Actually they look to have a creative bunch. Take a look at the topics they have going, and it's a nice spread of stuff. Everything from drilling steel, how much booze do you drink, air guns, have you ever considered being a PI.
Amazing what you can come up to talk about if you're forced to not have a one-track mind.

Oh, cool You may have been the one I got the link from come to think of it. Some time ago when someone else here was looking for Ford truck info. I just now finally registered, as my son and I have started in rebuilding my dad's '67 F100(since the Dodge is sold).
I had to change my name. Someone else already had "rickg", so had to go with "rikg".

They have another forum "Ford vs the competition". The rules:
"Technical discussion and comparison ONLY. Emotional threads, flame wars and trolls will not be tolerated."

I'm liking it there better all the time. :p

What a boring world to only go where people say things that you agree with.....

Yup. It's boring to be with those you get along with, have things in common to talk about, don't call each other idiots, don't have people being condescending towards you, enjoy your successes, feel your hurt, can share ideas about home projects...........
How boring the world would be if we all just got along.
