This will make the jewels crawl back up.

The man obviously needs some sort of counseling!

A 50-year-old Reno man told authorities he castrated himself to lower his libido and learned of the procedure on the Internet, police said.

Washoe Medical Center officials cited privacy issues on why they could not release any information on the man.

About 1:30 a.m. Monday, police said the man called 911 and asked for help because he could not stop the bleeding from a self-castration operation.

Reno police and medics responded to the man’s home near Brinkby Avenue and Robinhood Drive, and he was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Hospital officials said the man successfully castrated himself, police reported. No further information was available.

“The man obviously needs some sort of counseling,” Reno police Lt. Ron Donnelly said.

i wonder if the folly was more in the method. as some have said, guys like this don't need to sully the gene pool. perhaps he could have chosen a more bloodless approach. ranchers have been using rubberbands to cut off circulation for generations........oh my that seems uncomfortable.

he could also choose quicker proceedure involving the slamming of two bricks together with said testis postioned so as to interupt actual contact. if the patient managed to remain conscious through it, he would prolly never forget the expirience......though further surgery may be required to uncross the eyes.

Ah nuts, the Internet made me do it.

We need to introduce this guy to the cannibal in Germany. They could have a beautiful relationship.

problem is at 50 he has likely already contaminated the human gene pool...........he should have done that at 15.

Before he was sewed up they could have put some silicone implants in there. They have these in high class vet clinics so your French Poodle doesn't develope a mental complex from his castration. I believe that they call the implants Neuticles.
