As I recall, she left in a huff, or was it a minute and a huff . . . it became unbearable watching her trying to defend an entire gender while having undergarments getting into a bunch, so her parting words were that it might be better if she used a gender ambiguous moniker.

Sexism drove Webwench away, or at least to a virtual sex change operation. She still exists at BenzWorld. As I recall, Harvard's president had a role in her disappearance. Good column in the NYT today refuting his claim that genetic differences hinder women in Physics.

Kirk, Z, Azimuth and ???? were banned in a successful attempt to reduce the OD discussion to life's banalities.

Larry decided to stay around once someone educated him on the 'Ignore' function.

Some people claim that if women ran the world, there'd be less warfare. Wonder if the same thing applies here? If we had had more women, or a female moderator, would there have been less banning?

Larry is still around I showed him how to work the ignore function. It does work quite well if someone is ticking you off use it and move on.

As to the others good riddence, Benzworld is a good place for them.
