Last Thanksgiving, a friend of mine deep fried one -- he swears by it but he filled me in on horror stories. One guy didn't watch it close enough, it got way too hot, caught fire and burned his garage down. Practically exploded they said.

One fireman, after the fire was out, was saying, "Hey man, don't give up on usin' a fryer! The only way to cook a bird!!" Oh man, the guy was sitting there totally crestfallen and the fireman was telling him to jump back into it.

I mean, I wasn't there....

Fryed Turkey

Nope, I was serious. And if you've never tried a fried turkey that's been injected with a butter garlic sauce...well, that's why you stick to oven-ruined bland turkey. I'm currently salivating like Pavlov's dogs.
