Solar-powered car cooling fan

It's a fan you wedge in the open crack of your car window. It's supposed to draw hot air out and cool air in. aNyone have one of these things, and DO THEY WORK? I'm thinking about getting one. There is a cheap source. Thanks.

I seriously doubt it would do much if anything...greenhouse effect puts a lot of BTU's into the car to move out....

Here's a place that has one...

I was considering this too since I nap in the car at lunch and it's near 90F in the shade. Perhaps if 4 of them were installed that might make a difference.

I was considering hooking up a 20W flexible solar panel that would sit on the shelf in the rear window and hook it up the vent fan in the car somehow. Leaving the fan on while in the car with the windows down does keep a 10F differential according to my thermometer.

Hehehe... If I got one of those, I would have to also install a sump pump with all the rain we get down here.

I dont see why they would'nt the Audi's with the solar powered fan work really well (solar panel in the sun roof) we had one on the lot in Denver it was black on black and it was cooler than some white cars with tan interiors!
