Jen- It happens to all of us. I have a plethora of reading glasses all over my house. By the time you hit 50 years of age your eyes will go though at least 3 power changes....good news is ,reading glasses are inexpensive and quite stylish now.

I never would have guessed that bifocals would make someone have a hard time walking or climbing stairs. I have traditional bifocals and i never had problems with that.

I almost never wear my no line bifocals. The quality of vision is much better with my biofocals with the line. I tried the no lines for about 4 years and have gone back to the ones with the line.

The no lines have a very small sweet spot where they work, I think they are just about useless.

I agree. Tried both kinds and went back to single vision glasses and cheapo 1.25+ readers that I get by the gross at Costco. I leave them sprinkled all over the place, where ever I need close-in vision.

But you've been falling down a lot lately; are you sure it isn't your glasses.
