Like I said in a previous post, we have set off nukes here hoping to INCREASE oil production by fracturing the rock, so it is obviously not a doomsday device in that regard.

only thing being getting to it if the ground around it is radioactively hot. That would be a pretty effictive quarantine of the only thing of any real value in that area.
