FYI
Quote:
If they can't locate them, there is little that can be done. The doctors are reluctant to do anything, as long as the stones continue to pass, regardless of my pain. As explained to me: * Kidney surgery is seriously debilitating. * Severe bleeding. * Infection. * An increased risk of getting a hernia * Risk that the kidney is severely damaged by the surgery, requiring removal. * Insurance will not cover unless it is life threatening critical attack. . |

As one stoner to another. My last cat scan shows I now have one as well. No apparent physical issue yet with it though.
Are you elligiable for the ultrasound treatment? Or is that reserved for people with larger stones? The reason I ask is you have had kidney stone issues for a long time and would have acquired a lot of knowledge over the years about various methods of treatment. |

Lithotripsy requires exact "real time" focus / orientation. Insurance will not cover unless it is a current life threatening attack = requires proof you will die in a few hours = no other option. OK
Just a quick note:
Almost back to normal, after assisting a friend with instrumentation mounted on an industrial vehicle shaker table... I can't recommend this option, it is dangerous and painful working on a cycling shaker table. . |
