That's a sweet ride, congrats. I hear those twin cam motors are pretty powerfull and smooth. I don't think you will miss the Beemer very much.

Congratulations. I have a friend who went from Beemers to a Harley. He's back on a Beemer now after about 5 yrs on a Harley.

I had a H-D for about five years. Maybe it's time for a BMW. I do like some of them.

One thing about those bikes, once you buy one, you're instantly part of a brotherhood/sisterhood of riders internationally. Other riders will be willing to help you out just because you "get it" and own one of these.

If you are on the road and have mechanical trouble, and can get to the nearest HD dealer, the policy as I understand it, is that anyone "on the road" with trouble AUTOMATICALLY goes to the head of the line in the service department over all other HD customers, even those customers with appointments that were already made. That little policy speaks volumes and other marques both 2 and 4 wheeled ought to consider emulating it.

Are you going to join HOG?

They have runs and activities ALL the time, should you want to take advantage of them.

Another thing, I still am waiting to see my first "Honda" tattoo!!!
