Michael Richards and Jesse Jackson

Michael Richards was on JJ's radio show for yet another apology to the black community. Does anyone else find it curious what JJ's motivation is to "help" MR "heal" the wounds opened by his tirade.

Maybe he is trying to recover from the trouncing his 'reputation' took when he got caught embezzling from his foundation to support his extra-curricular women and children a few years ago?

What kind of "donation" do you think was extorted by the Rainbow Coalition?

Funny, Michael Richards meets JJ to apologize for his tyrade.

Is there any irony in meeting with a racist bigot to heal yourself?

It would be pure speculation on my part, but I bet it will be leaked somewhere and published soon. He's probably writing checks to the NAACP and UNCF too (which isn't a bad thing, necessarily, depending on your motivations).

Jackson has a few warts but I think that's too heavy-handed a characterization.

The guy pulls off international diplomacy now and then that is far from weak.

But you can't understand what he's saying more than half the time with that odd accent and fractured syntax.

A few warts? The guy is an adulterer, which is bad enough in itself, but also preaches family values, which makes him a hypocrite. He's a bigot, remember the Hymie Town comment? And his diplomacy is usually a well orchestrated slight (with the help of the government he is in cahoots with) against the administration at the time. This type of politics may play in the Peoples Republic of Berkeley, but not in most of the rest of the country.

IMHO, one Hymie Town comment does not make someone a bigot. Maybe he is a bigot, I haven't paid enough attention to him to know, but I don't think one off-color comment defines the whole person.
