Thumbs down Now that was smart Hatt...

Cut my finger wide open on a slicer tonight at work, got talking and a bit too comfortable, next thing I know ouch. Stings like a SOB, sat at the hospital for 1 1/2 hours watching it drip.

Don't get to comfortable around sharp things!!!

My uncle did the same thing when he was much younger. He showed me a few years ago and added "I can't feel much in that finger but I can always remember the thickness of the meat at the deli that day"

ouch!

in architecture school i sliced the end off my left thumb. it got sewed back on. about 25 years later it is pretty much normal except for the scar.

about ten years later i was cutting some tile off some backing matrix and sliced the same thumb to the bone about an inch higher.

hope they got yours stiched up fine.

My mom sliced the tip of her middle finger off when she worked in a deli. They had it sewed back on and had it in a sling with the middle finger up for a couple weeks.
