On the topic of thin/thick skin, they's fellers here who will call people traitors, sympathizers with communist tyrants, etc. and then get upset if someone convolutes their screen name innocuously, say by adding "hammer" to the end of it. Or who agitate for the banning of someone whose tongue is too sharp for their liking.

It's worth noting that accusations of treason are the sort of conduct that previously brought people to fisticuffs in our nation's congress -- not that I would do or threaten such a thing, I just point out the inflammatory nature of such things.

Agreed. I'm pretty sure that if I were doing a remodel for some of the guys I trade barbs with, we'd get along fine. I had a supe on a big job a few years back who was approximately 175 degrees away from me politically.

We'd get into sometimes but we were still friends.
