Anyone know anything about propane injection?

I've been told a few things about propane injection over the years, but left to come to my own conclusions.I was told it does the same thing for a diesel that nitrous oxide does for a gas job. That it's shot in,and gives a boost of power temporarily. Is this true, and who makes these systems? What type of bottom end,and head work will I need to do to put one into a 79 300cd nonturbo car? Is it just plane not recommended, and why?Any input from anyone is greatly appreciated.Still just kicking around ideas for this car,and it occured to me a little while ago.

It's adding a second fuel. You need air to burn fuel and your non-turbo car uses all of it's air at full power.

Don't waste your money.

If you had to do it all over again what sized turbo would you use? I'm curious as to what CFMs these engines run at.

I'd wait for a GT2559V from an Opel or Renault diesel and start with it.
By the math, a nonturbo 617 will move 264.75CFM at 5000rpm but less in reality due to volumetric inefficiency of the engine BUT more from turbo airflow. I figure in the 400cfm range at 13psi boost.
