Tar and Feathered is too uncomfortable.
I want to be carried away naked. What was the "event" again?

It is a smart man who admits that his spouse is smarter than him.
Especially if he makes the admission in front of her.

I no longer need to withhold judgment on the peanut farmer, anything else he does from there on out, is just icing on the cake. With the peanut farmer you have basically three choices: 1. He is evil, hence his embrace of kastro and the little elvis look alike toad in North Korea. 2. He is stupid, hence his embrace of kastro and the little elvis look alike toad in North Korea. 3. He is suffering from advanced dementia hence his embrace of kastro and the little elvis look alike toad in North Korea. I tend to discount #'s 2 and 3. He is a grduate of the Naval Academy and, except for astrounat Nowak (she of Depends fame) graduates of the Navala Academy are smarter than the average bunch. Likewise, there is no medical evidence that the peanut farmer is suffering from dementia (although judging by his brother's behavior, maybe there is some dementia in that family, maybe the result of interbreeding?). So that leaves me with the only rational explanation why the peanut farmer (a self-proclaimed advocate of human rights) would go to Cuba, get in bed wiht kastro, and then come out and say wonderful things about the dying dictator, while ignoring the obvious violations of civil liberties (that even Amnesty International cannot longer ignore). Hence my conclusion that the SOB peanut farmer is evil. Does that answer your question tomas? I know that to the soft-headed, weak-minded, thought-challenged liberal elements, speaking evil of one of their sacred cows (the habitat dwelling peanut farmer) is heresy, but hey the evidence is all there. When even people in the penut farmer's think-tank (now, that is an oxymoron) quit amid accusations that the academic research (another oxymoron as applied to the liberal peanut farmer) on his latest book about Israel and the Palestinians is deeply flawed and biased, then it is time to look at the buck toothed peanut farmer with a more critical eye. I guess that if you go out, and sanctimoniously (sp?) proclaim yourself to be a "good man" while hitting a few nails and sewing a few boards (at the same time posing for the press) then the American public gives you a free pass to be stupid. Further on the peanut farmer. It has recently been revealed (after Ford's death) that Ford's spiritual advisor urged Ford to showcase his Christian faith. Ford refused to do so because he deeply believed that matters of faith are deeply personal and not to be cynically used to get votes. The peanut farmer, on the other hand, went around the country, prancing about, talking about what a good Christian he was, thumping on the Bible, bieng shown going to church, and even getting his sister to stump for him. That was a deeply disgusting and offensive display. I am not against religion and I am not against men and women letting others know about their faith. But cynically using religion and faith to cast about for votes is wrong. And yes, you can apply that same criticism to ANY politician who does the same thing. So tomas, have I made my position clear about the buck-toothed, kastro-ass-kissing, peanut farmer?

My wife is smarter than me.
My ego is larger than hers. It's a no win situation.
