I noticed recently that the prices on late-model CL's was a lot lower. It seemed that was the case, at least. I'm wondering now if the introduction of a redesigned model of ANY of the MB's results in a big drop in prices for the used cars in that class. What do you think?

I've driven my E less than 1000 miles, so I have yet to really stomp the pedal. Now that spring has finally arrived, I will be driving this car more, and looking forward to punching the throttle frequenty. The car is incredibly quick, to me anyway. I can hardly imagine another 120 hp under the hood of a vehicle this size. Where I live, I have trouble imagining a road to utilize that kind of power. Maybe one day I will take mine to a track.

I read on another forum that many of the W211 E55 owners who traded for an E63 were mighty upset. They felt that the E63 did not perform as well as their blown V8s.

Yes they 2000 and newer CL's are a dream car for me, I have wanted one since they came out. Now they are getting cheaper, but not that cheap. Still in the $30k range.

Justin I'd love an 03 or newer S600, but at this time way they are way over my budget. Swinging $20k is going to suck in itself because I will have to get a note for part of it.

Good idea.... Mine's been to the drags several times, but next month will be the first time (with this car) on a road course. Should be fun.

Try out the AMG Challenge if you don't want to use your own car....
