Well I didn't buy this car (300CD). Actually I was dismantling the dash to research the vac lines and found a paycheck neatly tucked between the steering column and the lock cylinder....The check was three years old too! I mailed it to the address on the check...just for fun.

I picked up a rental car once that had a case of beer in the trunk. Unfortunately, it was summertime and it appearred to have been in there at least over the weekend.

I just made a deal for two Porsche 914s. Retreived the first one yesterday and had a brief look inside.

One Zippo lighter marked "US Army Fort Leonard Wood Missouri", one plastic spoon and a pr of car stereo power amps and crossover still screwed in place.

Going to fetch the other car today.

i have had several benzes with what appeared to be factory original spares.

my 74 bavaria had one too.

when i get one i generally pull it out and save it for resale time. i think it is worth a lot to tell someone that the spare is the factory original. it is actually disfunctional as with cars this age you don't dare to use them. i have tried and in a few weeks the belts shift and there you are.

In the 87 420SEL, I found an envelope from the govt office that handles food stamps. It appears the previous owner was receiving food stamps. While owning a benz.

Well, along with about a hundred bucks in expired food stamps, was $150.00 in cash. Ya Baby!
