Cemtex, C-4, How about some nice C-12. I can get you some of each from my dad, and send them to you fed-ex. I'll pre wire everything for you, so that all you need to do, is give them a little shake, and they'll be "Armed". Or maybe pressure switches, and I'll overnight them to you..Fedex Air freight... You can use them to make a crater, in your back yard, and just push the tree into it, and cover it back up with dirt.

I'll do it... We have an old oak needs moving. Trade-i'll tape it if you send it.

If it's a Black Walnut it could be worth some $$$.

Well thanks guys for all the responses. The guy says the tree is a cherry but it never had flowers, or cherries. Its a hardwood, that's all I know. Here's a twig of it.

seriuosly i can't tell from the picture. it does look as if it could be a wild cherry. but they do have berries.

and they aren't really considered hard wood, are they?

Concerning cutting trees, about the only way to learn is OJT, which is why there are so many body parts laying around the woods.

I'm with wag, looks like it could be a black cherry, wont have fruits until summer. The fruits are very small, as are the flowers. It ain't yo mamma's cherry ... tree.

we had a huge black cherry in my back yard when i was a kid.

i spent many hours in the huge branches of that tree.

Raymr, that tree is chump change. One piece of equipment I invested in that coincidentally paid off the same day is a pair of Kevlar cutting chaps, they are cheap and and well worth it.

If you are not a regular cutter rent a saw or buy a $99 Poulan, they are throw away saws but if you take good care of it if will pay for itself many times over.

Plus cutting wood is fun.

Dude, get your chainsaw and get going. Hope you have a decent one. I bought a Stihl 310 w 18" bar. I;d have the tree there done in 45 minutes tops.

And I'm an investment advisor for a livin'.

Just be careful of the supporting weight on limbs, that's all. As another poster said, start at the top and keep lopping weight off the main trunk. Most importantly...

If you dont have a good saw ( Husky or Sthil), you migth want to punt. IMHO, here the tool itself is a key variable. Disagree WHOLEHARETEDLY with last post re cheap $99 saw. Stihl 310C w 18" bar will run around $375. Guys like me and you will own it until we die.

Cherry is awesome firewood BTW. Hottest burning we have around here.
