There is no truth in saying that all union men are lazy.
Just as it is not true that all non union guys are industrious. The unions brought blue collar folks into the middle class. The buying power of these folks was a very big factor in making our country a world power. Pushing them back down is hurting our country now. Unions are neither good nor bad as a concept. As with any group there are excesses there. Where folks work and there is limited opportunity for going elswhere for work, unions are needed. If there were plenty of jobs to choose from and people could simply move onto another job if mistreated, then unions would not be needed. But the medical and retirement benefits that come along with union membership are huge in making a decent life for blue collar folks. Tom W
