I'd be happy if at least ONE of these parties was FUN. It seems like everytime I attend a political party the only thing I leave with is less in my wallet.

The disgust with both parties-- and the current President -- is so high, that at this point I think Ron Paul is really worth a look.

Certainly, I don't agree with him on all specific issues, but with the checks and balances upset as they are and a Congress in turmoil and gridlock, his message needs a hard, serious look by the electorate at large

What is wrong with "gridlock?"

It was designed into the system on purpose.

The less that Congress tries to "do," the better!

From the American Hedonist Party website:

#4. Yes, one of our proposed slogans is "The American Hedonist Party: Get in bed with the government".
Isn't this what most politicians are trying to do most of the time already?
(along with the PAC's and other special interest groups)

It's been time for a third party 30 years ago, but the good ole boys club in DC have been successful so far in not losing their grip on America's balls/brains.

PS: I do like the AHP's idea of a "Starter Marriage Bill"

Cheating, lying, and dirty tricks can go a long way in this country nowadays. I have no doubt they will be a formidable force to deal with.

If you're a Democrat, sure!

If you're a Republican, it's the other way around.

Maybe not, but the Repo's sure seem to be far ahead in the deceit and corruption department, IMHO.
