if it's the stuff that rolled thru here the last 2 days(and by satellite images it is) you better have the pumps handy cuz your gonna need um.town about 50 miles from me got 10+inchs in about 6 hours or so

We had that a couple of years ago here. A contractor I know had taken a chimney out of a very old house here and not patched the hole in the roof. 8" of rain in two or three days soaked the ground in the crawl space and collapsed an old laid stone foundation and it blew out.

He was working on the job t and m and the owner never realized that he had screwed up and just kept paying him to work on the house.

Waitin' on that stiff breeze that's about to enter the Gulf Of Mexico.

Just got done with his predecessor - 9 " of rain in 3 hours.

My BIL has been flooded so many times he is thinking of putting his couch on pontoons.
