Good health, family and friends. Sure, some material things make me happy like a decent income, fun cars etc. However, those things are beginning to matter less.

Happiness is living life 100% moment by moment, don't worry about the future or past. Just deal with things as they come up --- happiness is a creation of our mind, not Reality - but it is part of Reality. Happiness (or whatever emotion) is the movie playing out from our mind and Reality is like the white screen behind it.

She gave up her teaching aspirations to be a stay-at-home mom, didn't complain when I brought home a rot-ridden Scout on a trailer, bought my TD or even when I bought our boat as a project which, as a trade-in, was left uncovered for 2-3 years, cabin sole full of water, sunfaded and complete free of good upholstery and then put up with me (and it) for 2-3 years as I rebuilt, repainted and reupholstered it. So far, she's a keeper
