Some oven, can't remember which company, had a nice feature where the oven rack was designed more like a drawer slide than just a sliding rack. Seemed to be safer for larger pans.

Refridgerators that have motorized shelves make accomodating different height containers a lot more convenient, but I guess it's just another motor that may break.

The Sharp "drawer" microwave ovens seem like a good idea. The micro can be installed below the countertop and loaded from the top like a cabinet drawer.

I think Kitchen Aid is made by Hobart in Ohio...

Our Bosch front-loading washer has been fine for almost 4 years now. Bought it for $400 buy-it-now on eBay.

Bought a Bosch Dishwasher about 3 years ago.
That thing is sooooo quiet, you can't hear it running even when you stand beside it.
One problem though.
3 month after I purchased it, it was dumping water all over the floor.
Had to wait 3 month, for the new parts ( complete pump assembly ).

My core business is kitchen and bathroom remodeling. I can tell you that Bosch is the most difficult to install/remove and therefore service. Nothing wrong with Kitchen Aid, GE, Kenmore or JennAir. LG seems to have mixed reviews. I have installed plenty of SubZero, Viking, Wolf and Fisher&Paykel as well. FWIW, I don't see what all the hype is about with these high-end brands. The mid-to-high end products of more common brands are almost as nice and much less money. Just my two cents. RT
