He did mention something about an up-armored Pella that we diddn't go into too deeply as it was a real budget breaker. He also left a brochure for one of those new PPW's (Pella Personal Window) that as best I can make out, one can wear, even when out of doors.

The mother of a good high school friend was a Pella. They had so much money, the Dad would just play golf and mess around with old cars. They bought a ranch out in Colorado and spent a lot of time there. Flew out just for a weekend, then come back for school.

Good window too.

I wish I had gone the Pella route, I like the Anderson windows but I don't think the doors are as good as Pella doors. The %$##$ handles on Andersons loosen and easily come off.

I haven't spoken with Chip since college, but I'm guessing he's rolling in Mommy's money. That dirty Pella $$...

Pella's Frech Gliders are crap -- the metal cladding comes off and water goes in and rots the wood. Ask me how I know.

(PLUS the bottom of the gliding panel isn't sealed, so the wood just rots away.)

The new Anderson Frenchwood is good except for the "water well" -- or whatever they claim it is...

Oh. Did you mention Pella Window and Door Problems?

It was both. All the old corporations's holdings have been placed in a transparent holding company called "Now You See Me... LLP"
The board of directors meets once a year to hunt lawyers in the Black Forest.

I'm building a bunker out west. Enough weapons to take out a third world coountry, enough gold to buy one, food for 5 years.

That should be good enough to ride out the end of the world, I mean the real estate crash...

Brrr - shudder; fiddling while Rome burns, snickering at cautious souls all the while, gives me cause for pause.
