Funny but true...Ever since we moved in to my late Mother's house{3 months ago}we have not had any TV except for old videos and DVDs.

I tell you one thing.....my daughter and I get a helluva lot more work done AND she reads more books,bless her heart.

Not only that,but she is eager,nay anxious to help me renovate this ancient monolith,she's already skilled in the use of the hammer,chisel,cordless drill and {of course}brace and bit,girl can inlet a door hinge faster than I could!

I have gradually gotten out of the habit of TV watching and haven't missed it a bit. The older I get the more stingy I get with my time. I want to spend it with the people I care most about, doing things I love to do.

The constantly repeating BowFlex commercials really bug me, and as above, anything with Billy Mays

I hear you guys on the "no watching" TV thing. We went about a month without cable, or internet, after we first moved in to this house. It actually was nice. The wife and I actually just sat and TALKED! :D
But working nights kinda screws up alot of my life. Most of my awake hours are after I get home. Can't sit and talk with the little lady at 3 in the morning. Can't go out and mow the lawn. Can't be hammering on the remodel projects. My eyes are kinda going buggy on me, and reading isn't real enjoyable anymore. Bad enough staring at a computer screen.
So, I do my workout(trying to avoid a 3rd angioplasty), watch the idiot box, and type useless stuff on internet forums.:D:P

i can't think of any real annoying commercials. but i do enjoy the new LaQuinta commercials.

Well I did love the MB "life passing before your eyes" commercial that someone else noted already. Very emotional, and at the same time hammers away at the brand values of trust and longevity.
