Hey Vronsky, good to see you! I thought they drove you out of here ...

"No end in sight...?" Well, I assumed a better news value ... for all intents and purposes.

Talk about a circular arguement...er....."discussion"......

Reminds me of a high school discussion about history. History cannot be written about without it being slanted towards the writers perspective, regardless of a supposed neutral stance. Therefore, history cannot be trusted to be accurate.

I'm gonna go see what's on The History channel now.

This statement is paramount! If those who base their knowledge on history books and otherwise historical interpretations would only get ahold of this fact.

And do remember, history always shall be written through the eyes of the victor, rarely would the defeated have a chance to tell their side.

Interesting turn of the thread.
Compare two history books both published in the USA; one written in the 1950s, and one written in the last 2-3 years.
Accepting that history is written by the victors, analyze the 2 history books and then describe the country that produced those books. Would you want to live there?

Would be interesting to read a translated German take on the Versaille Treaty, written before Adolph came to power.

Old German history is all but over, you would be hard pressed to find any. What I have seen or heard is from old timers and thats a soon to be extinct class anyways.

The Nueremberg Tribunals took pretty much care of that ... it was not limited to 'Denazification'

You can take a look at:

Benjamin Freedman speaks

...if you haven't don't so yet.

Indeed, it was to wipe out the entire past remnants of German greats and glories and start with a fresh clean slate which would make it easy to influence.

If you are unable to impeach Bot's facts then try arguing with someone less informed/intelligent and you may feel less frustrated than this post indicates. Maybe one of the younger lads.
