Do you guys actually 'work'' on Thanksgiving Day??:D

We don't work on Thanksgiving, we just have it at a different time from you. In Canada it is the second Monday in October. Supposedly to reflect the fact that our growing season is shorter than yours, so our harvest time is earlier. We only get the one day off, though. You get two.

Boxing Day, IIRC, is originally a British tradition where the owners of the house would exchange places with the servants on the day after Christmas, a tradition that was also taken up by the military, as a way to boost morale/goodwill. It has devolved into a day where people madly rush out to the store to take advantage of huge sales. Kind of like the Friday of your Thanksgiving holiday. As for why it is called "boxing day", I haven't got a clue.

They sure didn't look like the same team that whooped the Chargers the week before, did they?

They heard you were going to be there and went to the other lease!

(I actually do like brussel sprouts but will still try that out on the rest of my crew)

See, I wholeheartedly agree. I think more bacon is the answer to everything. I firmly believe that we'd have peace in the middle east if we could get all those guys to settle down and have a good pig roast with lots of bacon in all the dishes. No one can stay mad if that's being offered.

So, anyway, we're all headed to N. Florida for T-giving. Flying out on Wed. Renting a beach house in St. Augustine for a week. And yes, we'll go swimming. Atlantic in November is still warmer than Pacific in July.

Sorry to hear that, Jason. I hope you'll be thankful that the surgery went well at least. Hope everything turns out fine.

That looks like some kind of turkey S&M device to me. Is that whiskey he's putting in there?
