I'm staying home with my wife and kids. New Year's day we're having her parents, sister and BIL over for a meal and a movie on the 50" HDTV with the new BlueRay player.

Stay safe everyone!

We should get together for a dinner GTG one of these days. Since a bunch of us seem to be only a 2 beer or so ride away.

Going to a local party for a little while with a couple friends. Wife is having her friends over the house. The kids go off and do what they do but we are usually back in by ball fall.

Howdy All,
I don't have to get up early New Years day to take dogs running. The 3 I want to take, all have slight injuries. Sooooo, what I will be doing New Years eve is sitting here seeing who is replying to my Jan. roll-call thread LOL.

Update: Well thanks to the great weather here in Upstate NY. All my plans are now shot down. But thats ok. We are staying in for the night with people comming in and out all night. A nice quite evening. I might even watch the Ball drop with Dick Clark and that other guy who does the American Idle show.

Change in my plans also. Instead of the steaks, shrimp, champagne, cheesecake and the hot tub, my wife and I'll be spending the evening at the hospital with my oldest son. He underwent emergency surgery this morning at 6:30 AM.

No sympathy requested. He's doing fine and my wife and I feel blessed he got the problem discovered and fixed. He's 28 and as hard headed as his old man when it comes to pain. If he'd waited for a couple more days he'd probably have been a goner. So, as far as we are concerned, it's a GREAT start to a New Year! Not only that, since it was intestinal surgery, he can't horn in on any of the goodies!
