Ever seen Bansky, the graffiti artist? He is really amazing. Very creative. He uses stencils for some of his stuff.

Here's his website: http://www.banksy.co.uk/

Lunagen, your 3D stuff is amazing! I wanted to learn to do 3D when I was learning Autocad, but didn't have the time and it wasn't a job requirement, so I never did. My hat's off to you.

Lunagen, that is some good stuff. Is that rendered in mya. I always wanted to learn that. There is only so much you can do in adobe illustrator, i know that you can make photo realistic images in the program but they take way more skill. post up some other stuff in the future.

Thanks Boom! Illustrator is some serious stuff. You can do some great stuff with it. I can get around in Photoshop, but Illustrator is over my head.

The software I use is Rhino3D for modelling and Maxwell Render for the rendering. It works really well for me. Rhino is a really powerful, but clean cad package and Maxwell is fairly slow, but gives amazing results. Check out some of the gallery stuff on Maxwell's site, it's way beyond what I can do.

Thanks man! I appreciate it. It's really one of those things like welding or bodywork; a neverending learning curve. I first used AutoCAD in the late 80s, like version 9 or so. Then on and off for 10 years or so, I worked at my dad's place doing production drawings and custom project proposal stuff in their engineering department. Eventually I started playing with 3D and when I found a software modelling/rendering combo I could get good results with, started doing it full time.
