Will there be a surround sound purchase, too, or does that have to wait for next year's refund?

BodhiBenz- The refund is the regular tax refund not the bonus we are suppose to receive. Someone said something about the "refresh rate" on the HD's and thought that figured into the price as well.
I agree you should be treated equally as well if your dresssed in shorts or a tux...

Quote:
It's funny, as far as being "judged" on attire, I often find that I get less of that when I go in a "snob" store, and much more of it when I go into a store with mixed patronage. For example, the shopping center most convenient to where my parents live (where I grew up) is uber-wealthy. Most of the stores I couldn't begin to shop at, but I go to the grocery, drug store and post office there when I'm in the area ... no one cares if I'm wearing oil-stained duds and a worn-out Broncos sweatshirt. Maybe they just assume that everyone in the town is rich as creases, so I must just be one of those eccentric rich people (eccentric yes, rich ... not quite). The super-rich seem much less interesting in image, I find, than the middle-upper-class folks who want everyone to think they're super-rich. I guess we're all a little guilty of occasionally trying to show other people how important we are ... I do it with my writing sometimes and usually pay the price by alienating readers. Oh well. Human behavior is amusing and confusing. Good luck with your TV.
