what time is it???
Ok.. ever since the govt screwed up daylights savings all of my forums times and my gmail account have been screwy... I know the east coast is -4 hours GMT... however.. I put that on all of my forums and gmail and it still gives the wrong time... wtf?
its rather annoying! according to time.gov I posted this at 1:03 am... and my forum time is saying 2:03 am with auto DST detection... so I put my time zone to -5 gmt to compensate... time sucks |

O.K. I'll fall into your (?)
Is Davenport by any chance usually on Central time?
[aren't some parts of the Panhandle] (Geographically challenged about some of Florida) It's 1:10 here and The clock at the right bottom of the screen agrees. Daylight Savings Time (U.S. East coast[in Winter Months]) - 4hrs = UTC/GMT (We aren't supposed to use GMT as a descriptive anymore,It was too British, Colonial and not PC) So I have no Idea WTF is going on with the forum or U.S.Government (Stop, That's a half truth...U.S. Gov wasn't happy trying to one up Command officer Smith on the Titanic[rearranging deck chairs to tunes played by the Orchestra, while most of his passengers played at chum for sharks]NOW they want to deny culpability/responsibility for World Economic Collapse,While expecting us to believe it's not imminent because that would be an inconvenience to the business community. However the Amplitude Modulation signal reset time (Atomic Clock) broadcast by the Commerce Department from Fort Collins,Colorado every night works beautifully and my little Weather Station dutifully updates it's time overnight.(Wouldn't Benjamin Franklin be ecstatic!)

Booogs?
I know you are setting your LT's time by going to:
control panel...regional and language options...(the tab)regional options... TIME (is the third option down, you can reset it )...click APPLY...click OK What are you using for anti-virus,anti-spyware and (anti) rootkit ? 'Reason I ask this,if your LT is GHOSTING for some other agency; It might reset time zone incorrectly. Antivirus: AVG [FREE] (from Grisoft) Anti-spyware: AVG Anti-Spyware [FREE] (also Grisoft) Anti-rootkit: AVG Anti-rootkit [FREE] (Grisoft again) Anti-Spyware: SPYBOT SEARCH and DESTROY [FREE] ('Must have this one!) Anti-Ad Ware: Ad Aware [FREE] (from Lavasoft) The "Battleground" is also running Norton's Internet Security. A lot of this stuff scrabbles over the least little infection,so it can tell you about how well it does it's job, as compared to it's competitors. 'Fine with Me as long as I don't have to FORMAT!
