One of the immutable laws of the universe is that anything you keep, you'll NEVER need. Anything you throw away, you will need the next day. Based on that, it seems logical to conclude that if you never throw anything away, you'll never need anything . . . .

My garage and basement stand a mute testament to that philosophy, but I'm trying to pare down . . .

We don't accept that as fact even though you (women) may think it is.

Nothing at the moment. All garage projects are finished. Now as for home projects ... those are numerous and waiting for funds and design approval from the boss (and that ain't me). Once the boss (Mrs Mash) gives the OK the hired help (Mr. Mash) gets too work. Current project is a master bath overhaul.

I've got way too many unfinished projects to remember them all.
1) Worst one is my 380SEL sitting now for 6(?) years with no engine waiting for me to finish switching it to a double roller.
2) The upstairs bathroom isn't totally done yet- need to still find some sink/vanity combination to fit with the baseboard heater in the way.
3) started repairing/stripping and waterproofing the basement walls before I moved in 4 years ago... haven't touched it since.....whoops

Ah! now...outside of the garage...that, is a different story.
I have to finish my lanai (I did buy some more aluminum parts today, so work is imminent).
I also just remembered that my chipper/shredder needs a part ordered (technically it's not totally broken - the chipper part still works)
I also have a brand new (ie not broken) double paned vinyl window, that needs to replace one of those horrible Anderson crank windows.

Pella? No...and it isn't an Anderson either. American somethingorother. Single hung, double paned, vinyl windows. I'm thinking they've paid for themselves already.

I almost hate to admit this....but, believe it or not, I've somehow missed what the fuss about Pella's was all about. Not sure I want to know either! =O

I know. I was just kidding, trying to resurrect the infamous "Pella Controversy."

I DID fix my stereo that has been languishing down in the basement, oh these many years. Now I'm enjoying listening to all that great vinyl I have down there. SOMEtimes I actually DO get around to fixing stuff . . . .

"Single hung" does sound strangely appropriate, though.

Probably unhinged, too.
