Well at their food counter you can't use a credit card, only cash or a Costco gift card. I didn't have cash on me.

I hate Costco, its full of yuppies and everything they sell is massive.

The cookies are pretty good though.

My local Costco doesn't accept credit cards anywhere in the store (except their AmEx).

Cash, Check or Debit Card only.

I thought Costco accepts all AMEX, not just their branded card. My non-Costco card works at the gas pumps for sure.

I'm sure they accept all AMEX cards, they just promote theirs.
