Well, you are right in that fact that it didn't stop them. Maybe I am not explaining myself well. Lets try again. It doesn't stop everybody. It was designed to take over where mortal law ends. That said, it doesn't work on everybody. It was designed to be one more layer to hold you back. Doesn't say it works all the time. Think of it as a last resort to stop you.

Yes, you know that and I know that. Still, people want the placebo effect of a comforting thought that they are not alone and that someone is actually watching them, punishing the wrong doers. Does it mean it is true? Not really.

I don't believe for a minute that AIDS was developed to target black people. All I'm saying is that condemning any and all blacks who chose to believe that is not useful either. They're being a bit paranoid and they have at least some right to be paranoid.

And whether or not you believe in God has exactly nothing to do with the perception of many that he issued a mighty insult to our country. Everyone from congress, presdent on down seems to believe that if you sing God Bless America enough, America will indeed be blessed.

Those BELIEVERS ought to know that to BELIEVERS, God's blessing is not automatic.

Again, what do you expect people to do with stupid folk? They used to sing God Bless the King or Queen in England. Didn't always work out either.

They will believe whatever the religion's mucky muck tells them. AIDS is a curse from god because of gay men or so somebody up there said. Again, if you are stupid and/or paranoid, what do you expect people to say? "Oh, you have a right to be paranoid and it is my fault because I don't understand your paranoia?"

No. But the vaccines in question had to be grown in biological cultures. I'm not sure of the details but apparently a couple of companies in the US might have used monkeys from Africa for the purpose. There are all sorts of mysteries in the universe. The span of time that we know of is vast, and it's hard for me to imagine anything other than any infinite string of big bangs. What might have evolved in that time?

The avatar? I like it great. I don't wear G strings. I like freeballing too much. When I am at home, I wear as little as possible. I have a short light gown from Victoria's Secret (yes, it is unisex) if I have to wear something. Other than that, nothing is better.

When the deity can come forward and prove beyond reasonable doubt that he/she/it exists, I'll be willing to listen to whatever he/she/it has to say. So far, it has been just a rehashing of the same story.
